Sean P. Gossman, 50 of Lake City, passed away on Sunday April 23, 2017 at Pleasant Ridge Manor, from injuries received in a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident years ago.
 He was born  September 12, 1966, a son of Ronald and Patricia Mason Gossman of Lake City.
 Sean was raised and educated in Fairview and worked at the Gertrude Barber Center.  He was involved with the Millcreek & Erie County Attitudes, Inc., Happy Entertainment for the Disabled.  He also participated in the Special Olympics as an avid bowler.
 He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Ruth Mason and paternal grandparents, Carl and Opal Gossman.
 In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Carrie Dobson of Girard and Christina Daly and her husband Phillip of Palatine, IL; two brothers, Andrew Gossman and his wife Gracie of San Antonio, TX and Dean Gossman and his wife Denise of Edinboro, PA; nieces, Kara Dobson, Morgan Dobson and Leah Daly; nephew, Evan Daly.
 A special thank you to the staff at Pleasant Ridge Manor, especially the nursing staff on Unit C, for their loving care of Sean.
  There will no calling hours or services observed.
 Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edder Funeral Home, Inc. Girard.
  Memorials may be made to Friends of Pleasant Ridge Manor or to the charity of one's choice.
