Dear Bob and family, I am so, so sorry to hear about Marilyn's death. I am more heartbroken that I was not able to join you for the viewing or funeral. I have been thinking about Marilyn and the wonderful friendship that we have had for over 30 years now. Bob, you and her have had a profound impact on my life and my priesthood, and I will never, ever forget the love that you have shown me all of these years. The picture of Marilyn, and that powerful smile, is the ONLY expression I ever saw on her face ... for over 30 years. She will be truly missed, and she will never be forgotten. Always be assured of my prayers, my sympathies, and my love & friendship. Be at peace, knowing that Marilyn now basks in the glory and the light of the very face of God!!

What a wonderful wonderful person, and how blessed was her life - caring and lovely family always surrounded her. I will never forget seeing the whole family dancing together at Maria's wedding - Marilyn and Bob in the center with the kids all around. Such a fun loving soul! And my family will continue to have pie for breakfast on Sundays, as she told us years ago that was one (of many I'm sure) of her favorite traditions. Lots of love and prayers to all of you.
