Charles A. "Al" Ryen, 51 of Lake City, died on Sunday September 4, 2016 following a hit and run automobile/pedestrian accident in Girard.

He was born in Jamestown, NY, October 6, 1965, a son of Anita Armagost (Larry) of Lake City and Charles R. Ryen ( Bonnie) of Lexington, NC.

He attended school in Erie and later received his GED. He studied bookkeeping/accounting in Frackville, PA. and most recently had been employed at Maple Doughnuts in Lake City.

He was an avid fisherman with his family and belonged to B.A.S.S. He also enjoyed bowling with his mom at Westway Lanes, video games and loved reading.

In addition to his parents he is survived by four brothers, Ronald E. Ryen (Carol) of Millcreek, Gilbert S. Ryen of Millcreek, Robert "Steven" Ryen (Robyn) of Greeley, CO, Rudy L. Ryan of Jamestown; a step sister, Joleen McBride of Altoona and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date by his family.
