Marilyn J. (Bready) Ruscitti, of Girard, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Health Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Boston, MA on November 11, 1934, a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Dewan) Bready.

Marilyn lived and attended schools in Dedham, MA. She was employed as a Secretary at Automobile Insurance Co. of America and Rust Craft Greeting Card Co. in MA. Marilyn married Robert S. Ruscitti in 1960. They moved to Pennsylvania with their two children in 1966 and have lived in Girard since 1967. She was employed at West Ten Podiatry (Girard office) and The Heir Shoppe. Marilyn has been very active in her church, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Girard, in their Gourmet Breakfast Group, the Prayer Chain and on one of the funeral luncheon committees.

Marilyn will be greatly missed by her family, which include her husband, Robert and her four children, Marnie Hanson of Flowery Branch, GA, Joan Ball (Jay) of Vinton, VA, Robert S. Ruscitti (Wendy) of Girard, Elizabeth Horsemanko (Scott) of Erie; eight grandchildren, Timothy, Angela, Charles I (Mandy), Keith (Jaimie), Samantha, Maria (Jesse), Julianna and Thomas; her great grandchildren, Shyann, Raven, Charles II, Blake and Breanna.

She loved being a Wife, Mom, Nana, Granny and Mrs. Bob. She also loved baking cookies and was famous for her "Sinful Brownies".

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Conlon and Patricia Walsh; three brothers, William, Thomas and Jack Bready.

Friends may call on Thursday at Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Prayer Service will be held there on Friday at 9:30am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with Fr. William Miller officiating.
