Todd C. Meeder

Todd C. Meeder, 59 of Girard, died following a brief illness, Monday, March 8, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.
 Todd was born October 31, 1961 in Erie, a son of James C. Meeder of Lake City and Janice (Johnson) Meeder of Girard.
 He graduated from the Girard High School in 1979. Following high school, he began employment with Lockwood Auto Sales in Girard, where he initially worked as a Mechanic. He later, went on to work there in the parts department as manager. Todd worked there many years and eventually went to work in the family business, Lake City Industrial Products, Inc., where he was Vice-President. He continued employment there until 2013.
As a young man, Todd always loved cars and working on them. He was well known in the Girard area for building Drag Cars and racing with his friend Dan Maher throughout the area Dragstrips. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, but especially working on his 1971 Mach1 Mustang. Along with his passion for cars and mechanics, he enjoyed motocross, and snowmobiles for many years.
He will be greatly missed by his family, which includes his father, James C. Meeder of Lake City, his mother, Janice (Johnson) Meeder of Girard; a son, Casey C. Meeder of Albion; a sister, Sherri G. Meeder of Dunnellon, FL; a brother, Jeffrey F. Meeder (Janice) of Lake City and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Services will be held privately by the family.
 Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.
