Thomas "Tom" Daggett Obituary

Thomas "Tom" R. Daggett, 72, of Girard, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at his home. 
He was born August 3, 1947 in Ashtabula, OH, son of the late Thomas and Ruth (Robinson)Daggett.
Tom graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School in 1965 and attended Grove City College, graduating in 1969 with a B.A.  in Business. Following graduation he attended Officer Candidate School for the U.S. Air Force, later becoming a Captain. While serving in the U.S. Air Force he worked in the Space and Missile Systems Center, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal during his service. After being Honorably Discharged in 1972, he worked as a banker for Security Peoples Trust Company. He worked in insurance sales at Robinson Conner, Erie Airways as the Vice President, and Qwik Print. Tom began his own business, GR Graphics, which he ran for 34 years up until his passing. 
He loved to golf and was a part of many golf clubs in the area. Tom also had a fondness for his canine companions.
Tom is survived by his wife, Carol Daggett, whom he married on August 3, 1985 in Girard; their children, Tammy Rebre (Scott) of Clifton Heights, PA, Jason Daggett of Hilton Head, SC, Gregory Stearns (Kelly) of Edgewater, MD, and Gillian Florentine (Neil) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Wesley, Brian, and Nolan Rebre, Molly, Morgan, and Michael Stearns, and Giovanna Florentine; his great grandchildren Elliot and Ezra Mundin; as well as his dear friends, Paul Liscko, Tom and Sue Tuedhope, and his dog, Jimmy.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
