Suzanne Davidson, 64, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
She was born January 15, 1962, the youngest daughter of the late Murray and Paula (Bersee’) Davidson.
Suzanne graduated from high school and then attended Ursuline College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She then continued at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, where she completed her Doctorate in Epidemiology. She utilized her extensive education working with Dr. Arthur “Buzz” Brown, then Vice President of Research at MetroHealth Medical Center, for several years. Thereafter, she settled into one of her life’s passions, reselling selected items through her online portal, “Move It Along.” She found great joy in connecting people with things they cherished and took pride in her ability to discover unique treasures.
At home, Suzanne was a gracious host, welcoming family and friends with warmth and kindness. She created a beautiful outdoor space for gathering and fellowship, where many cherished memories were made. A lifelong animal lover, she was devoted to the care of all creatures, often rescuing stray cats and the occasional dog. Her gentle spirit and thoughtful nature were evident in the simple ways she cared for others, such as offering a warm drink to a friend on a cool day.
She will be greatly missed by her family, which includes her husband, Kurt C. Weaver; sisters, Carrie Davidson and Jenny Summers (Rick); brothers, Phil Davidson and Bruce Davidson; nieces and nephews, including Marshall Davidson (Kayce), Heather Nirider (Nick), Geraldine Davidson (Rudy) and Kelsey Summers (Rafa); as well as seven great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Suzanne’s name may be made to Valley Save-a-Pet, PO Box 39221, Solon, OH 44139 or online at Valleysaveapet.org or to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 Saint Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110, or online at www.reserve-care.org.
An informal Celebration of Life for family and friends will occur in June.
