Shirley E. Sturgeon

Shirley (Schwab) Sturgeon, 94, of Millcreek Township, formerly of Fairview Township, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

She was born May 26, 1930 in Waterford Township, a daughter of the late John and Florence (Welch) Schwab.

In addition to parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband, R. James Sturgeon on December 10, 2011, who she married on May 28, 1949;  a sister, Helen Burns and her husband David; brothers, Louis Schwab and his wife Bette; Norman Schwab and his wife Caroline; as well as Kern Schwab.

Shirley is survived by a son, David Sturgeon; brother, Roger Schwab and wife Betty Jean; sister-in-law, Beverly; as well as nieces and nephews.

In accordance to her her wishes, no visitation will be observed. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
