Sandra-Lee "Sandy" Camille Ellsworth (Keller), 80, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.
Sandy was born on August 28th 1943 in Waycross Georgia to the late John Keller Jr. and Camille Marion Keller, while her father was stationed at Waycross Army Airfield. At war’s end they returned to their home in Pittsburgh, PA where she graduated from Shaler Twp. High School in 1962 and worked for several years at Titzel Engineering in Lawrenceville. She met the love of her life, Don Ellsworth in 1966 and they married on August 26, 1967 at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church in Millvale. They are the parents of three sons, Aaron, Brad and Chad. For many years Sandy worked as a teacher’s assistant at St. Stephens Nursery School in Fairview where she loved working with children. She also spent many years as a sales associate at Wild Birds Unlimited, where her appreciation and knowledge of nature were able to flourish. She is remembered for her love of people and easy familiarity, and for her smile and her sense of humor. She made friends everywhere she went and was a constant and loving wife and mother. She loved to sing and was a longtime member of the Symphonic Singers of Erie, as well as the choir at Holy Cross Church.
She was predeceased by her parents and brother Johnny Keller.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Don Ellsworth; sons, Aaron of Warren, PA, Brad of Portland, OR and Chad of Girard, PA. She is also survived by her siblings Darryl Keller of Houston, TX, Camille Spurlock of Phoenix, AZ and Eric Keller of Carlisle, PA. She is greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Friends may call on Monday, September 9, from 4pm - 7pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7100 West Ridge Road, Fairview PA 16415. A memorial mass will be held the following day, Tuesday, September 10, at 10:00 a.m.
