Rosie S. (Locey) Imhoff, 90, of Spring Creek, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Rolling Fields Nursing Home.
She was born in Spring Creek, Pa. on June 15, 1932 a daughter of the late Edmond and Mamie S. (Foreman) Locey.
Rosie married Albert Imhoff in 1948 and began raising her family and taking care of the family home. In 1971 she went to work at Corry Memorial Hospital in the laundry room and retired in 1994. She also attended Eastern Kentucky University in the 1980s obtaining a degree in Commercial Laundry Management.
Rosie was a member of the Corry and Warren Salvation Army Corps,and most recently the Midway Alliance Church for several years. She was also active in the Corry PTA when her children were young.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death in 1984 by her husband, Albert Imhoff; two daughters and two sons in infancy; sisters, Ruth Locey, Clarise Locey and Esther Locey; brothers, Richard Locey, Leo Locey, John Locey and Robert Locey.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Imhoff of Corry and Cecilia F. Golightly (Richard) of Kingston, Pa.; two sons, Leroy A. Imhoff of Parma,OH and Chester A. Imhoff, of Spring Creek; five grandchildren, Kirk Golightly (Stacy), Jared Golightly (Nicole), Janel Golightly (Nicholas), Jacob Dorundo (Julia) and Jennifer Dorundo; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Derek, Mason, Abigail, and Braden also many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10AM to the time of service at 12:00 Noon at Midway Alliance Church, 6330 Oil Creek Road, Spartansburg with Rev. Eric Swartzbaugh officiating.
Burial will be in the West Spring Creek Cemetery.
