Ronald "Joey" F. Devies

Ronald F. "Joey" Devies, 61, died at St. Vincent hospital on Thursday, November 17, 2022. 

He was born on July 24, 1961, a son to the late Ronald H. and Marlene (Whitman) Devies. 

Joey graduated from Northwestern High School in 1979. He continued his education at Erie County Technical School where he learned to become a Tool and Die Machinist. He began work with Parker White Metal as an operator. He remained there until retiring at an early age. 

He loved music and his family. Joey enjoyed playing the electric guitar, playing his rock and roll music, Ted Nugent being his favorite. He attended many concerts and when life became difficult, he was always soothed by music. 

In addition to his parents, Joey was preceded in death by his wives, Brenda (Wheeler) Devies and Carrie (Shope) Devies. 

He will be missed by his family which include his daughter, Robin Devies (Cal); brothers, John Devies and James Devies; sisters, Christine Reinelt and Kellea Devies; several grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews; and friend and companion, Tara Connor.
