Ronald B. Farmer

Ronald B. Farmer, 56, of Girard, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
He was born in Erie on August 3, 1966, a son of Cindy (Dylewski) Farmer of McKean and the late Ronald J. Farmer.
Ron graduated from General McLane High School in 1985. He worked at Whispering Woods Golf Course for the past seventeen years.  He was the first employee hired there at its inception and took great pride in his work, truly loving his employment there. He also loved hunting and fishing, cutting and splitting wood with his grandfather and family throughout his life.
He will be greatly missed by his family, which include his mother, Cindy Farmer, his long-time girlfriend, Pattilee Junkin; a daughter, Jessica Bauer-Cook; a son, David W. Cook (Rachel); a brother, Harry J. Farmer (Barbara); grandchildren, Lane and Levi Cook, Declan Perkins, Caleb Spencer, Gunner Spencer-Junkin; a nephew, Cody Farmer (Misty) and a niece, Hope Farmer (Gage).
Services will be held privately by the family at this time. A celebration of life will be held publicly at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262, Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
