Richard "Dick" A. Kimmy

Richard "Dick" A. Kimmy, 75, of Harborcreek, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Dick was the son of the late Otis and Marie (Leehan) Kimmy. He was born on April 6, 1949, in Erie.

He graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School in 1967 and enlisted in the United States Air Force following high school. After his honorable discharge in 1972, Dick began working in the construction field. Throughout his career, he held numerous jobs in the field and worked until he was unable to do so. Dick was a true craftsman who could fix almost anything, but he especially loved woodworking. He also adored nature and loved to hunt.

Dick leaves behind his loving daughter, Megan Dougan (Brian); sons, Seth and Joshua Kimmy Sr.; sister, Janet Lyngarkos; brother, Eric Kimmy; grandchildren, Joshua Kimmy Jr., Emma and Liam Kimmy, Graham, Rory, and Finn Dougan, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services are to be held at the convenience of the family.
