Richard L. Horton

Richard L. Horton, 92 died on Tuesday January 9, 2024 at Pleasant Ridge Manor. 

Rich was born in Erie, on January 25, 1931 to the late Ernest and Theresa (Hicks) Horton.

He attended East High School growing up in Erie. He would begin his professional career as a truck driver and would end his career as a bus driver in the local area for over twenty years with Millcreek School District as well as Fairview School District. Rich also was very involved in the Girard Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses serving as an elder in addition to assisting in building the Kingdom Hall. 

Rich was an avid watcher of  his favorite TV shows. He also loved reading books, mostly western style books.

In addition to his parents, Rich is proceeded in death by his brothers; Robert, Bernard and Lewis Horton.

He is survived by his wife; Carol (Eaton) Horton; sons, Daniel (Linda), Dennis (Sharie) and Scott (Shelly) Horton; sister Marian Crawford.
With his wishes no calling hours will be observed.
