Pearl V. (Weaver) Gregory

Pearl V. (Weaver) Gregory, 95, of Erie and formerly of Harborcreek, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center, Erie. 

She was born September 10, 1927 in Jackson Center, Mercer County, the youngest of thirteen siblings of the late Samuel and Emma (Hendershot) Weaver.

Pearl graduated from Hickory High School in Hermitage in 1946 and has resided in Erie since 1947. She was employed at General Electric for nine years as an Assembler in Refrigeration manufacturing, where she met her husband Gene whom she married July 30, 1949. She was later employed as head of the cafeteria at the Klein Elementary School in Harborcreek. 
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Erie and enjoyed square dancing, yodeling, fishing, crafting, bowling and card club throughout her life.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Gregory on November 29, 1997. She was also preceded by a son and grandson in infancy; her sisters, Della Deal, Elsie Cotterman, Mary Gill and Vera Thompson; her brothers, Plummer, Floyd, Lewis, Jacob, Walter, George, John and Kenneth Weaver.

Survivors include four daughters, Renee Adamowicz (David) of Harborcreek, Tina Gregory (Dale Orengia) of Erie, Debra Westland (Robert) of Waterford, Michelle Pohl (Gary) of Harborcreek; a son, Keith E. Gregory (Debra) of Harborcreek; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairfield Hose Co. VFD, 4896 East Lake Road, Erie, PA 16511.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edder Funeral Home Inc., Girard.

Burial will be in the Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
