Patricia "Diane" Jordan

 Patricia Diane (Rupert) Jordan, 82 of Erie died on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Twinbrook Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

  Diane was born March 11, 1940 a daughter to the late Ira L. and Ruth E. (Williamson) Rupert.

  She grew up in Ford City, PA on the family farm, learning from a young age the meaning of hard work and chores. Diane graduated from Elderton High School in 1958 she was always known to be "Dolled" up in school. She was married shortly following high school. Diane then graduated from cosmetology school and became a beautician. Her and her husband moved to Indiana to find work and stayed there creating friendships with neighbors with a free hair cut advertised with dinner. 

  Diane and her husband loved to travel to Arizona and California sight seeing and visiting small towns along the way. She has a multitude of photos to show and reminisce of the places she has been. Diane enjoyed taking trips to see family that were then across the country as well as holding the roots of her family's farm.  She also was inspired to collect unique and beautiful glass slippers. 

  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Jordan whom she married July 2, 1960

  She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Barbara Keyes and Mary Polof; as well as several nieces and nephews.
