Pamela S. David

Pamela S. David, 74, of West Springfield, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at UPMC Hamot.
 
She was born on November 27, 1951, a daughter of the late Karl L. and Dolores E. (Hilliard) Burns.
 
Pam attended McDowell High School and, from an early age, had a keen eye for artwork. She met her soon-to-be husband, Keith David, and the two were married shortly after high school. Together, they built a life centered on love and family.
 
Pam was a deeply caring and devoted mother, always attentive to the needs of her home and loved ones. Each spring, she eagerly planted flowers and took great joy in watching them grow and bloom. She and her family often took small trips to nearby scenic locations, where Pam found inspiration in nature. She loved breathing in the fresh air while patiently painting the landscapes before her. She also had a talent for photography, capturing what she found most beautiful through her lens.
 
Later in life, Pam found friendship and shared enthusiasm at the Presque Isle Art Association. She assisted the organization in every way she could, often helping with clerical duties for nearly ten years.

Family remained the heart of Pam’s joy. As grandchildren arrived, she lovingly babysat and cherished every moment spent with them. She was also an animal lover throughout her life, having dogs and later developing a love for horses-an interest encouraged by her daughter, which Pam wholeheartedly supported.
 
Pam’s working career began at Rich’s Products, where she assisted in the making of pastries and pies. She later worked in the manufacturing sector until her retirement, always preferring and enjoying her home life most of all.
 
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her brothers, Calvin Burns and Karl Burns; her father-in-law, Paul T. David; her mother-in-law, Betty I. (Roberts) David; and her brother-in-law, Robert David.

She will be deeply missed by her family, including her husband of over 56 years, Keith L. David, whom she married on November 29, 1969; her daughter, Paula Irons (Sean); her brother, Rodney Burns; her half-brother, Donald Stephen; her grandsons, Brian Irons and Jonathan Kerswill; and her great-granddaughter, Amara Irons.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Edder Family Funeral Home, 309 Main Street East, Girard. Burial will take place privately at Grandview Cemetery.
