Milton H. Dahl

Milton H. Dahl, 98 of Corry, went home to be with the Lord on Monday March 25, 2024, at Cambridge of Corry Retirement Community.
 
Milton was born in Corry, PA on May 12, 1925, to the late Clyde E. and Fern Hunt Dahl.
 
  During WWII Milton worked for Pearl City Plywood in Jamestown and from 1947-1953 he worked at GE as a metal finisher in refrigeration. In 1948 he was employed by the Corry School District and worked there beginning at Wright Street School then at Concord Street School where he enjoyed 33 years.

  Milton was a lifelong member of Corry First United Methodist Church and belonged to the United Methodist Men and loved singing in the church choir for many years.  In retirement Milton enjoyed woodworking and helping to care for Woodlawn Cemetery, along with watching baseball, football, and golf. 
 
  In addition to his parents, Milton was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen R. (Akam) Dahl, whom he married on July 10, 1976; son, Terry L. Dahl in infancy; his brothers, Edwin F. Dahl and Carl W. Dahl and his grandson, Michael James King.
 
  He will be greatly missed by his family, and is survived by his sons, Gerry Dahl (Kathleen) of Corry, Milton D. "Dean" Dahl (Vicki) of Canton, OH, James LeRoy King (Laureen) of Corry; Steven LeRoy King (Sherry) of Lake City; and his daughter, Karen Sue King Dyer (Leonard) of Goodyear, AZ; grandchildren; Erin Boylin, Patrick Dahl, Andrew Dahl and Kevin Dahl, Leah A. Dyer-Johnson, Jereme L. Dyer, Tyler J. Dyer, Amanda N. Ishman (Daneil), Ashley M. Morgan (Matt), Amy L. King, Megan Hopkins, Jack King (MaKayla), Andrew King (Emily), and Aleasha K. Cook (Christopher), eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Corry First Church, 640 Worth St., Corry on Saturday, April 6th at 11AM with Pastor Duk Hee Han officiating.
