Michele (Duffy) Gloss, 83, of Fairview, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Michele was born in Erie on December 29, 1942, to the late Francis and Myrtal (Smite) Duffy.
She attended St. Andrew's School in Erie and went on to Erie County Technical School to obtain her cosmetology license. Michele married the love of her life, Gene Gloss Sr., soon after her graduation and started building a family together. She worked as a hairdresser for several years before she found Kaufmann's Department store where she worked for over 20 years. There she held many positions, the one that stood out was her artistic eye, was in setting displays for the public to awe at.
Michele was renowned for her excellent planning skills, organizing trips and vacations across the United States. She was also known for hosting large gatherings at their home in Fairview, showcasing her artistic side through elaborate decorations for the seasons and holidays.
In addition to her parents, Michele is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Gloss Sr. whom she married on June 10, 1966 and her three sisters, Patricia Miller, Betty Money and Marline Duffy.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Eugene (Ray) Gloss II (Dawn); daughter, Tammy Woinelowicz (Mark); and her four grandchildren, Cody, Kyle, Ryan and Matthew Woinelowicz.

Per Michele's wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
