Linda Darleen Smith

Linda Darleen Smith, 57, of Lake City, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at her home.
She was born in Batavia, NY, a daughter of the late Henry Norman and Anna Mae (Grey) Smith.
Linda graduated from Girard High School in 1983. Following high school she enlisted in the United States Army, where she served in Georgia and North Carolina as a cook. Upon her honorable discharge from the Army, she returned to the West County area and began employment at local nursing homes as an aide. She most recently had been employed at Erie Powder Coating in Girard where she worked for many years.
Linda loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and watching murder mystery television shows. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She will be missed greatly by her family, which include her daughter, Destiney A. Mason (John) of Lake City; a son, Tyler J. Smith of Lake City; brothers, David Smith of Kansas City, KS and James Smith of New York; and her grandchildren, Skyler and Braeden Mason.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the VFW Post #4965, 13755 Chestnut Street, West Springfield.
