Linda M Semon

Linda M. (McNeely) Semon 70, died suddenly on Saturday April 15, 2023 at her home. 

She was born February 9, 1953 a daughter to the late James E. and Mary C. (Klopfer) McNeely. 

Linda grew up in a suburb of Buffalo, NY where she graduated from Kenmore East Senior High School. Later on, she moved to the Erie area with her husband and began working at the Schwebel Baking Company as a cashier. Additionally, Linda dedicated some of her time to working as a lunch aide in the local school district.

Throughout her life, Linda and her husband enjoyed a fulfilling and well-rounded relationship. They found joy in both peaceful moments together and exciting adventures. They spent many days fishing on Lake Chautauqua and Lake Erie, as well as Rice Lake in Canada. They cherished their evenings spent on their small boat with a picnic.

Apart from her leisure activities, Linda also had a talent for sewing and created many unique afghans and small garments. She took pride in her home and tended to a small garden. She occasionally visited Presque Isle Downs Casino or Seneca Allegany Casino for a fun time. Furthermore, Linda was a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over thirty years Paul Semon whom she married on March 21, 1981 in Niagara Falls. 

She will be greatly missed by her family which include her nephew, Robert Heidrich; brother-in-law, Frank Semon; close friends, Wilbur Nass (Avis) and Morn Pankow (Robin); as well as several cousins.
