Linda Susan Gaydos Beam

Linda Susan Gaydos Beam, 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at UPMC Hamot.

She was born on March 11, 1951, in Erie, a beloved daughter of Robert and Birdie (Klie) Denning.

Linda attended Rice Avenue Union High School, and later, continued her education at Tompkins Cortland Community College. She had a variety of occupations throughout her life but ended her career as a waitress at the Towne Terrace Inn in Fairview, where she would meet her husband Tom "Woody" Beam who was performing at the restaurant. From that night on, Tom and Linda would spend the rest of their lives together.

She found joy in old shows and movies, classic rock, cooking and baking meals for her family, planting flowers in her gardens every year. She also loved the company of Tom and his band, playing all over the tri-state area, creating everlasting memories. Most of all, she cherished her time as a mother, taking care of her children was her top priority throughout her life.

Linda is survived by her husband; Tom Beam; son, Lucien Gaydos; daughters, Brenda Trimble and Destiny Beam; grandchild, Sonya Soltis (Adam); great grandchildren; Alex, Andrea, Trinity and Owen.

In accordance with Linda's wishes, a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Linda "Sunny" Gaydos Beam Memorial Fund, under care of Edder Funeral Home Inc..
