Kenneth W. Roberts

Kenneth W. Roberts, 83,  died on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the County Club Retirement Campus. 

Ken was born on March 9, 1939 in Harborcreek, a son to the late Dean and Mattibell (Nonomaque) Roberts.

Ken graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School in 1957. Following high school he began work as a car mechanic at Hossman's Pontiac and GMC Truck. He worked for several different companies before founding Roberts Auto Service in 1975. Ken and his wife Donna worked there until selling the business in 1985. Ken then moved to Muskegon, Michigan continuing his work as a mechanic until his retirement. 

Ken enjoyed taking fishing trips. He attended the First Presbyterian Church of Girard as well as the First Presbyterian Church of Muskegon, MI. He was a member of the Masonic Temple and Past Master at the Lake Erie Lodge 347. Ken was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Muskegon, MI. 

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Roberts. 

He will be greatly missed by his family which include his wife, Donna (Bannister) Roberts whom he married November 6, 1974; two daughters, Darlene K. Davis (Steve) and Amy Harris (Joe); two sons, Timothy Roberts (Pam) and Kevin Roberts (Monica); two brothers, Jack Roberts (Jan) and David Roberts (Georgia); six grandchildren, Jessica Melton, Cody Laut, Chad Roberts, Kaitlyn Roberts, Christina Harris and Joseph Harris; and three great-grandchildren, Olivia and Lucas James and Jacob Dominick.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 W 8th St, Erie, PA 16505.

Friends may call on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Masonic Service at 6:00 p.m. at the Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard 309 Main St. E. Girard.
