Kenneth Foy Obituary

Kenneth Edward Foy, 89 of Edinboro, died Saturday, November 20, 2021 at his home.
 He was born January 4, 1932 in Wesleyville, a son of the late Kenneth C. and Thelma Walts Foy.
 Ken graduated from the Edinboro High School in 1949. In June of that year he enlisted in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He served at a weather office in Oceana Naval Air Station outside of Norfolk, VA., and later in Morocco. Upon his honorable discharge as a Petty Officer 2nd Class, he returned to the Franklin Center area and went to work at Penn Brass & Copper in Erie, where he retired as a set up man in 1984. Following his retirement he was self employed by cutting and selling firewood in the local area.
 He was a member of the Skeltontown Bible Church and Bethel Presbyterian Church in Cranesville; the Cambridge Springs Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, gardening living in the country and camping.
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen M. Johnson; a step son, David J. Miscichowski; the love of his life, Karen Stellmach; his daughter Martha Bucko; a brother, Norman Foy; sister, Marjorie Ryan and a sister in law, Lois Foy.
 Ken will be greatly missed by his family, which include his four daughters, Debbie J. Foy of Frankfort, KY., Daphne V. Kennedy (David) of Zephyr Hills, Fl, Denise M. Snyder (Dennis) of Edinboro, Danielle E. Woytek (Alan) of Alvin, TX.; a son, Kenneth C. Foy (Debbie) of Edinboro; a brother, Arthur Foy of Edinboro; a sister in law, Almeda Foy of Morgantown, NC; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
 Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 PM to the time of Service at 4 PM Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard with Pastor John Roberts officiating.
 Memorials may be made to Skeltontown Bible Church, 24305 Blystone Rd., Cambridge Springs, PA 16403 or to the Bethel Presbyterian Church, 8990 Crane Road, Cranesville, PA 16410.
