Katrina (Ackerman) White

Katrina White, 55, of Girard passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at UPMC Hamot Hospital.

She was born April 28, 1970, a daughter to the late John H. and Shirley (Fiesler) Ackerman.

Katrina graduated from Erie High School. Following high school, she worked in various manufacturing positions throughout the area until an illness prevented her from continuing.

She had a deep love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She cared for her grandchildren daily, creating a lasting bond rooted in love and devotion.

In the quiet hours of the evening, Katrina enjoyed listening to music and cross-stitching. She shared this passion with many family members, teaching them the art of cross-stitching.

During the spring and summer months, she found joy in gardening and nurturing her flowers. Katrina also cherished the companionship of her faithful cat.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Miranda White; sisters, Jennifer Hagberg and Sharon Ackerman; brothers, John Ackerman, Glenn Ackerman, and grandson, Aiden White.

She will be greatly missed by her family which include her sons, John and Taylor White; step-daughter, Jessica Lawrence; brother-in-law, David Whitcomb; grandchildren, Dylan Cowger, Madison Lawrence, Noah White, Aubrie Lawrence, Eric M. Lawrence Jr., Taylor White Jr., Luna White, Ariel White; great-grandchild, Daxton Cowger; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Katrina White Memorial Fund C/O Edder Family Funeral Home LLC.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
