Kathleen M. "Kay" (Peyton) Burch

Kathleen M. “Kay” (Peyton) Burch, 70, of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday April 12, 2021 at her home.
 She was born in Erie, July 21, 1950, a daughter of the late William J. and Cecelia (Rutkowski) Peyton.
 Following high school, she married her best friend, Richard L. Burch on May 18, 1968 in Lawrence Park and began a lifetime of caring for her family and taking care of her home.
 She was a member of the Millcreek American Legion Post #773 Auxiliary and a social member of the Girard American Legion Post #494. She enjoyed riding their Harley with her late husband Richard. She loved her family dearly and was devoted to her grandchildren.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Burch and two sisters, Dolores Glicksman and Nancy Young.
 She will be greatly missed by her family, which include her two daughters, Denise M. Maitland (Herb) and Diane L. Kaputa (Joe); a son, Richard L. Burch (Tina);  a brother, William Peyton; her beloved grandchildren, Nick Burch (Sarah), Samantha Puette (Ryan), Shaelyn McQuillen and Ryley Burch; one great granddaughter, Ava Burch and several nieces and nephews.
 Friends may call on Friday  from 3 to 5 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to the time of Prayer Service at 8 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard.
 Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
