Karen R Baldwin

  Karen R. Baldwin, 47, of Lake City died on Tuesday November 16, 2021.

  Karen was born April 1, 1974 a daughter to Jon Graff and Billie Jean (Taylor) Messemer. Karen graduated from Northwestern High School in 1992. Following high school Karen was a stay at home mother for her three children. Until beginning work as in home care as a direct support professional with the Barber National Institute, most recently she was a residential manager.

  Karen was a loving mother always involved and supportive in all her girls were interested in. Karen and her family were often found together outdoors enjoying each other and the sunshine. The family enjoyed trips to various campgrounds particularly in Paradise Bay as well as Andover, Ohio. She enjoyed painting and many puzzles. Karen had a love of animals that outstretched to her multiple dogs. Karen was generous with her time given to others and tender hearted to those she loved.

 She was a member of the Friendship Fairies involved in sending well rounded baskets to each other throughout the years special holidays.  Karen was also a member of the Girard American Legion Post #494 Ladies Auxiliary.

  Karen was preceded in death by a step-sister, Lindsay Nobel; grandmother Wilma Taylor; uncle, Fred Taylor

  She will be greatly missed by her husband Christoper Baldwin whom she married July, 25 1992; her father, Jon Graff; mother, Billie Jean (Taylor) Messemer; daughters, Kirsten Baldwin (Fiance Jacob), Kaitlyn Baldwin (Fiance Michael), Amie Baldwin (Collin); sisters, Cheryl Hedglin (Michael) and Diane Johnson (John); sister-in-laws, Lisa Baldwin (Bill) and Melanie Baldwin (Brian); and grandchildren Raelyn Kohler and Charlotte Dagg.

  Friends may call on Friday (Today) November 19, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Edder Funeral Home Inc. 309 Main St. E. Girard. A Funeral Service will be held there the following day, Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Albion Cemetery.
