John S Dudas

John S. Dudas, 66, died Friday February 26, 2021 unexpectedly at his home. 

John was born May 17, 1954 a son to the late John J. and Kathryn R. (Mangold) Dudas. 

  John graduated from Girard High School in 1972. Following high school he continued his education through Penn State University attaining a B.A. degree in accounting. After returning home to Girard, he worked as a accountant for a few years. He then began working with his father and brother at the family farm for about five years. Leaving the family farm he moved his work to contracting with Town and Country Builders Construction for multiple years. John then started his own contracting business "JSD Contracting" working in both commercial and residential. During this time he also built his own home in 1988.  

  John loved his family and spending time with them. He especially liked cooking Sunday brunches. John was always a handy-man and ready to help anyone in need. He loved to return to  Penn State with two of his college roommates. They often traveled to football games, bowl games, as well as NCAA Final Four Tournaments. John was a member of the Penn State Alumni Association. He also attended church regularly at St. Jude Church and St. Francis Xavier Church.  

  In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by a brother in infancy, James Dudas

  John will be greatly missed by his family which include his wife Stacia Dudas whom he married July 24, 1982 in Girard; a son, Aaron Dudas; a daughter, Amy Dudas; two brothers, David Dudas (Karen) and Gary Dudas (Kim); four sisters Susan Tomlin (Steven), Kathleen Beam (Douglas), Marilyn Sanchioli (Alex), Jean Klobusnik (Ken); mother in-law, Pauline Graves; brother in-law, Bruce Graves (Holly). He was very close to his nieces, nephews and cousin Bobbie.

Funeral services are being privately held by the family, a celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date.
