JoAnne L. (Lindsey) Warren

JoAnne L. (Lindsey) Warren, 87 passed away peacefully at Country Acres Personal Care Home on Wednesday October 29, 2025.  

She was born December 23, 1937 to the late Claire and Dorothy (Hewitt) Lindsey.

JoAnne was educated and raised in Spartansburg, Pa. After marriage she relocated to Corry where she owned and operated a beauty shop business with her mother, Dorothy Lindsey, serving the public for many years. She raised three daughters in Corry, where she spent most of her life. Joanne was a lifelong Catholic, attending St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Corry and St. Marks in Lawrence Park. Following retirement, she moved to Erie, PA where she married George D. Warren in 2007. She enjoyed crocheting, music (especially classical opera), cooking and was dedicated to her daughters and grandchildren. In her later years, she traveled, learned to golf and spent afternoons doing puzzles, many with her granddaughter Haley, who would pop in after work. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving sister, Delores Troutner, and her husband, George Warren. 

She will be greatly missed by her family which includes; daughters, Lenny (Rick) Cywinski, Shelly Gregory, and Kris (Bud) Henson; grandchildren, Chad (Veronica) McCray, Nathan (Alisha Huff) Heidler, Haley (Joe) O'Connor, Shelby (Jim Barrett) Gregory, Paige Gregory; great grandchildren, Katlynn Heidler, Bode, Scarlett and Radian Barrett.

She will be laid to rest in St. Thomas Cemetery following a private family service.
