Jennifer A. (Klimek) Emerick

Jennifer A. (Klimek) Emerick, 49, of Girard, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 6, 2023.

She was born on July 19, 1974, to James and Judy (Olmstead) Klimek. 

Jen graduated from Girard High School in 1992. She continued her education in business school for a year. Following her education she went to work for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield beginning as an intern. Jen moved forward working as an executive assistant for over ten years. She then became a lead analyst until she retired after 29 years. 

She loved her family and friends, getting together often. Jen had a love for theater, taking her daughter to musicals at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts. She enjoyed traveling to Ocean City and Disney World, with a Christmas to remember spent there. Jen loved to have family game night ranging from playing cards, in depth board games and painting ceramics. 

Jen was preceded in death by her brother, Jamie Klimek.

In addition to her parents, she will be greatly missed by her daughter, Lula Emerick; sister, Jessica Klimek; nephews, Jadon and Emil and her boyfriend, John Fitzgerald.

Friends may call on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Edder Funeral Home Inc. 309 Main St. E. Girard. A service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
