Jeffrey W. Climpson

Jeffrey W. Climpson, 55, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, November 9th, 2025.

He was born in Pittsburgh on December 14, 1969, to his parents, Donald and Carol (Vetter) Climpson.

Jeff graduated from McDowell High School in 1988 and went on to continue his education at Penn State Behrend, where he graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. Following his education, Jeff began working at Kmart, where he served as a Warehouse Manager. After his time at Kmart, he continued in the same role at Denver Mattress.

Jeff had many passions in life, including collecting Star Trek memorabilia and visiting flea markets to find new additions to his collection. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies, a favorite being Jaws, and playing video games. A devoted sports fan, he especially loved cheering for the Chicago Bears and the New York Mets.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Helen Climpson, and Louis and Fae Vetter, as well as his parents-in-law, Arthur and Mary Ann Bacher.

In addition to his parents, Jeff leaves behind his loving family, including his wife, Pamela (Bacher) Climpson; his son, William Climpson (Auna); his sister, Shirley Sebunia (Mark); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeff’s name to The ANNA Shelter, 1555 E. 10th St., Erie, PA 16511.
