Jason W. Reams, 39, of Lake City, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at home, following a battle with cancer.
He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 21, 1983, a son to Robert Reams and Claudia Nolan.
Jason moved often with his family, they settled in Albion, there he attended Northwestern High School. Following high school he began work as a landscaper, which was perfect because of his love of the outdoors. After his time there he worked at John V. Schultz Furniture and Mattress store, also Levin Furniture as a deliver man.
Jason was an avid fisherman with a passion for bass and steel head fishing. He loved to fish the creek beds often walking miles to find just the right place. His outdoor adventures often lead to a messy vehicle, which he then cleaned thoroughly keeping them immaculate inside and out. Known for his love of music and its volume he installed box sub woofers into their family mini van. Jason was enthusiastic about sports, his love of the Philadelphia Eagles stretched to his boys lives as well. He enjoyed spending quality time with the boys as well as bringing the entire family together for events.
In addition to his parents, Jason will be greatly missed by his family which include his step-father, Joseph Kotyuk; fiance', Jennifer Campbell; daughter, Hailey Reams (Hayden Wilbur); sons, Jason and Jaxxon Reams; sisters, Maranda Myles and Erica Reams (Joseph Holdsworth); step-brothers, Travis Reams and Joseph Kotyuk; as well as many nieces and nephews.
