James Bible Obituary

James Robert Bible, 80, of Springdale, Arkansas and formerly of Lake City, passed away Tuesday October 5, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

He was born June 7, 1941, in Lake City, a son of the late Robert Earl and Geraldine Lou (Wing) Bible.

Jim graduated from the Rice Avenue Union High School and later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was a hard-working man; who never met a stranger. He enjoyed golf.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Bible.

He is survived by two sons, Conrad Bible and Dylan Bible both of Springdale, Arkansas; three daughters, Shelley Bible of South Carolina, Mary Emanuel, Tricia Welsh both of Florida; three sisters, Patricia Edwards of Iowa, Susan Van Meter and Linda Strubel of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
