George A. Fuller, 91, of Cranesville, passed away surrounded by his loved ones at his home on Monday, January 6, 2025.
He was born on September 16, 1933, in Crossingville, PA, to the late William and Mary (Swaney) Fuller.
George graduated from Edinboro High School in 1952 and went on to Edinboro University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and Social Studies. He later returned to school to obtain his elementary teaching credentials. Following college, George held various jobs, including working for Bessemer. In 1963, he began his teaching career, dedicating 30 years to educating students before retiring in 1993. One of George's greatest joys was witnessing his students grow and succeed in their careers.
George was a man who loved staying active, whether he was working on old cars, restoring antiques, or collecting memorabilia. Most of all, George cherished spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Everett) Fuller, with whom he shared many happy years of marriage. Also preceded in death by his first wife Rosalie (Kleckner) Kangas, and his siblings, Ethel Bertram, Catherine Frndak, Walter Fuller, Gerald Fuller, Arthur Fuller, Joel Fuller; and his stepchildren, Jeffrey, Bradley, and Melanie Fuller.
George is survived by his children, Laura Desin (Robert), Kenneth Fuller (Debra), Perry Fuller (Debra), Shawn Fuller (JoAnn), Christopher Fuller (Robin), and Derrick Fuller (Stephanie), as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's name may be made to Orphan Angels Cat Sanctuary and Adoption Center, 5439 W. Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16505.
