Gage Taran Adams, 26 of Pittsburgh and formerly of the West County area, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, in Pittsburgh.
He was born October 20, 1996, in Meadville, a son of Robert L. Adams and Debbie (McGee) Adams Krawiec (Al).
Gage attended Northwestern Schools and later graduated from Conneaut Area School District in 2015. While a Senior at CASH he enrolled in the delayed entry program into the U.S. Army prior to graduation. Immediately following graduation, he attended and graduated from Basic Training at Ft. Benning, GA where he also went on to Advanced Infantry Training. He deployed with his unit to Germany and was later stationed in Latvia, for cold weather training, then Syria during the uprising there. He most recently was stationed in Ft. Hood, TX where he was honorably discharged as Sergeant from the military. Following active duty, he enlisted in the National Guard as well. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Service Medal and the Sharpshooter Badge (Carbine).
He returned home where he worked at various companies, most recently the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Pittsburgh helping Veterans.
Gage loved being a soldier, loved the United States of America and was very proud of his uniform.
He will be greatly missed by his family, which in addition to his parents, are his grandmother, Ellen McGee and grandfather, Robert K. Adams; a daughter, Riley M. Adams; two brothers, Seth D. Adams, Kain J. Adams (Ashley); a step-sister, Elizabeth A. Mullin (Evan); a step-brother, Joseph A. Krawiec; a niece, Gracie Adams; nephews, Kain J. Adams Jr., Korbin Adams, Liam Mullin and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call on Friday from 10AM to the time of the service at 12 Noon at Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard with Rev. Byron Gurnee officiating.

Burial with full military honors will be in the Spring Cemetery, Springboro.
