Evelyn R. (Vaughn) McKean

Evelyn R. (Vaughn) McKean,77, of Erie passed away on Sunday morning, April 24, 2022 at St. Mary's Home at Asbury.
  
 She was born on October 6, 1944 to the late Louis R. and Laura G. (Bernritter) Vaughn in Erie, PA. She graduated from McDowell High School in 1963. After graduation, Evelyn worked at the Boston Store in Erie and later was a Secretary for the Emil Kraus & Sons until becoming a stay at home mom and homemaker. Evelyn studied at Erie County Technical School where she graduated and became a Nurse's Aide.  She began employment at St. Vincent Health Center as a Nurses Aid and Physical Therapy Technician, retiring from there in 2000. 
  
 She was a member of Erie Christian Fellowship and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids as well as making jewelry as a hobby for family and friends. 
  
 Evelyn is survived by son, Rich J. Angelotti of Erie, his former wife, Danita Angelotti; two grandsons, Mark Charles Angelotti and Bruce Leonard Angelotti and a granddaughter, Lia Angelotti; 
  
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Angelotti Wurst and a brother, James Vaughn.
  
 Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

 Funeral services for Evelyn will be held privately by the family.
