Eugene R. Gloss Sr.

Eugene R. Gloss Sr., 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at LECOM Senior Living Center.
He was born August 31, 1941 a son to the late John and Lolly (MilHiser) Gloss.
Eugene graduated from St. Vincent High School. Following his schooling, he began work with Pepsi at a base position. He then went out on his own selling goods to local restaurants. His efforts propelled him for close to twenty years. Throughout his working days Eugene always had a fascination with automobiles, owning many different makes and models. A prize corvette still holds the space in his garage. This hobby turned into job at Champion Ford, providing his knowledge to customers.
He and his wife enjoyed hosting neighborhood parties at their home and loved the entertainment bringing people together gives. Eugene was a past social member of many clubs and could talk his way through any conversation. In his own home he could be seen toiling away at projects to renovate. In the winter time he would bring friends together to snow mobile. 
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers and sister; John, Richard and Eleanor.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Michelle (Duffy) Gloss whom he married June 10, 1966; son, Eugene Gloss II (Dawn); daughter, Tammy Woinelowicz (Mark); brothers, Joe, Lucino, and Dee; grandchildren Cody, Kyle, Ryan and Matthew Woinelowicz; as well as several nieces and nephews. 
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Chosen Mission Project, 3638 W 26th St., Erie, PA 16506.
Services will be held privately by the family.
