Ethel R. Kramer, 72, of Hubert, NC and formerly of Edinboro, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 7, 2022, in Hubert.
She was born on May 14, 1950, in Brookville, PA (Jefferson County), a daughter of the late George and Vianna (Geer) Kramer.
Ethel moved to Edinboro with her family as a young girl and graduated from General McLane High School in 1968. Following high school, she began working at Pleasant Ridge Manor where she learned to be a Nurses Aide. She eventually became employed at the Erie Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Home for the Pennsylvania Department of Veterans Affairs, retiring from there in 1997.
Ethel was dedicated to her family and cared about them more than herself. She loved games on the computer, watching the soaps, “her shows” and going to casinos for some fun.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen English and three brothers, Don, Ron and Eddie Kramer.
She will be greatly missed by her family, which include her husband, James Knight, whom she married November 6, 1998 in Erie; a daughter, Tina E. Moore; a son, Robert L. Morrow (Mandy); two sisters, Doris “Gidge” Stackhouse (Roy) and Lola O’Connor (Pete); a brother, John Kramer; her beloved grandchildren, Kisha Moore, Trey Moore, Tara Caldwell (Ben), Bobby Morrow, Brandy Morrow, Savannah Pol, Lucas Pol and Lincoln Pol; great grandchildren, Aiden Palmer, Anthony Palmer, Aria Morrow and Ryder Caldwell; also many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday, August 19, from 2 PM to the time of a Prayer Service at 4 PM at Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ethel Knight Memorial Fund, C/O Edder Funeral Home.
