Edward Novel

Edward  Novel, 82,  of Girard, died on Thursday November 23, 2023 at Pleasant Ridge Manor. 
He was born  in Erie, PA, a son of the late John and Stella Novel.

Eddie worked in the local forges supporting his family.  In addition he went to work for Zurn Manufacturing in Erie for many years, eventually retiring from Zurn. Eddie enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved being in the Crawford County and Waterford areas, the country side. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Betty (Kuhn) Novel; sisters, Rita, Irene, and Joanne; brothers, John Novel, and Robert "Bobby" Novel.

He will be greatly missed by his family, which includes his three daughters, Doreen Machinski, Kimberly Novel and Jennifer Pruchniewski; and grandchildren, Justin and Nicholas Machinski; great-granddaughter, Abigail Machinski

Friends may call on Monday November 27, 2023 from 11:00 am to the time of service at 1:00 pm at the Edder Funeral Home 309 Main St. E. Girard. Burial will  held be at Rice Ville Cemetery.
