Deborah L. (Caldwell) Vorse

Deborah L. (Caldwell) Vorse, 60, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, October 28, 2024.

She was born on February 22, 1964, a daughter of Ronald and Estelle (Miller) Caldwell.

Deborah graduated from Girard High School in 1982. She and her husband, Ralph "Bud" Vorse, whom she married in May of 1984, and began their life together. She was a  homemaker, who was always involved in her children's and family's lives. She volunteered extensively at the Federated Church of East Springfield, where she was a member. There, she helped with Vacation Bible School, the preschool program, and Junior Sunday School. Additionally, she volunteered as a teacher's aide at the Girard Alliance Christian Academy.

Debbie and Bud enjoyed many peaceful days on Pymatuning Lake fishing together.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Caldwell.

Deborah will be greatly missed by her family, including her husband, Ralph "Bud" Vorse; her mother, Estelle (Miller) Caldwell; her mother-in-law, Judith (Lewis) Vorse; her daughters, Elysia "Ellie" Vorse and Erin Jeziorski (Andrew); her brothers, Ronald Caldwell (Betsy) and Joshua Caldwell (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Lillian Greenfield, William Jeziorski, and Tanner Jeziorski; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to WLD Ranch Christmas Shop, 7351 Woolsey Rd, Girard, PA 16417.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9th, at 10:00 am at Edder Funeral Home, Girard.
