David Wade William Dombrowski

David Wade William Dombrowski, 52, of Girard, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at HCA Florida Largo Hospital with his mother by his side after a long battle with his health.

Dave was born on June 26, 1972, in Erie to the late Gene and surviving Elaine Dombrowski.

He was a 1990 graduate of Girard High School and went on to Ohio Technical College for Diesel Equipment Technology. He began working at Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad in 1995 and worked there until his retirement in 2018. Dave enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially at the West Springfield VFW Post #4965. He also enjoyed collecting anything that he could potentially fix, and loved hunting, fishing, and boating on Lake Erie.

Dave was a member of the East Springfield VFW Post #4965, the Eagles Lodge #408, and the Conneaut Boat Club.

In addition to his father, Dave was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Margaret Dombrowski, and Louis and Joyce Brown.

Dave leaves behind his loving family, including his mother, Elaine Dombrowski; brothers, Dean Dombrowski (Mary), Dennis Dombrowski, and Darrin Dombrowski (Patty); sister, Dianna Taylor (Kenneth); his Aunt Wink, as well as his nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's name may be made to the West Springfield VFW Post #4965, 13755 Chestnut St., West Springfield, PA 16443.

Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life hosted at the West Springfield VFW Post #4965 on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
