Constance C. Blackmer, 83 of Girard, died on Tuesday February 14, 2023 at Fairview Manor.
Constance was born July 18, 1939 in Oil City, Pa., to the late Victor and Angeline (Puzak) Cieplechowicz.
She graduated in 1957 from St. Joseph's Catholic Academy in Titusville. She worked at Universal Cyclops in Titusville and at Titusville Crankshaft (a subsidiary of National Forge). She further worked at General Electric in Erie in 1972 as a part of the secretarial staff. She also worked at the law firms of Shamp and Levin and Devine & Kuftic law offices as a legal secretary.
Constance was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Blackmer, whom she married October 08, 1971 in Erie; her daughter, Victoria L. Mountain; sister, Eleanor Galletta; and four brothers, Stanley, Henry, Alexander and Thaddeus Cieplechowicz also her step father, Rosario Galletta.
She will be deeply missed by her family which include her daughter, Mary L. Blackmer-Walmer and her husband, Mark of Lake City; son, William J. Blackmer and his wife Jean of West Springfield; stepdaughter, Lori L. Hautot and her husband, Marc of Picayune, MS; stepson, Douglas M. Blackmer and his wife, Marsha of Tampa, Fl.; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edder Funeral Home Inc. Services will be privately held by the family.
