Connie (Evans) Muse, 49, formerly of Virginia, died Sunday, May 22, 2022, following a battle with cancer at home.
She was born on December 30, 1972 a daughter to the late Robert Evans and Penny (Rotta) Evans.
Connie graduated from North Stafford High School in Garrisonville, VA in 1989. She continued her education at Strayer University. Following her schooling she began her career in Networking and Cyber Security at AOL. Connie continued on to own and operate Network Muse for over ten years.
She was a loving and kind woman who always cared for her family and friends. She enjoyed sharing stories of her life and entertaining loved ones and neighbors. She had a passion for reading and could find herself lost in any book, fact or fiction. She enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking and created beautiful handmade keepsakes to preserve family memories both for herself and to gift to others. Connie’s generosity and compassion was limitless and she was committed to organizing participants and fundraising annually for the Race for Hope in Washington DC. She donated frequently to charities and organizations that she came across and never hesitated to help others. Connie battled brain cancer for many years and is remembered as a fighter and a hero by loved ones.
Connie will be greatly missed by her family including her mother, Penny (Rotta) Evans; daughters, Heather Hatton (Jacob) and Jenna Muse; the father of her children, Robert "BJ" Muse Jr.; brother, David Evans (Lorraine); grandchild, Arthur Hatton; grandmother, LaRue Evans.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society.
