Charles E. "Chuck" Vogt, 88, died on Friday November 26, 2021, at his home surrounded by family.
Chuck was born in Edinboro, PA on December 24, 1932, a son of the late Fred and Florence (Taggart) Vogt. Chuck attended Silverthorn School on State Road.
Chuck worked as a mechanic for over ten years before becoming an independent truck owner-driver. The last twenty years he hauled nursery stock for Fairview Evergreen Nursery. He restored antique cars as a hobby and was a fan of NASCAR and his favorite driver was Mark Martin. Chuck was a member of the McKean United Methodist Church and a social member of the Edinboro-McKean VFW.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Fred Vogt in 2021; a sister, Irene Goodban; three brothers, Dewey, Donald and Clyde "Whitey" Vogt; and a granddaughter, Brigitte Sauers.
He is survived by his wife of over 71 years, Audrey (Kimmy) Vogt, daughters, Catherine Sauers (John) and Vickie Beatty (Jeffery) both of Erie; daughter-in-law, Carol Vogt; five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren

Friends may call (TODAY) Sunday November 28, 2021, at the Edder Funeral Home Inc. 309 Main St. E. from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service will be held the following day on Monday at 10:00 A.M. burial will follow at Sterrettania Cemetery.
