Charles “Chuck” H. Kibler, 90 of Girard, died on Monday, June 20, 2022 at his home.
He was born August 27, 1931, in Erie Pennsylvania, a son of the late Richard G. and Margaret A. (Culver) Kibler.
Chuck graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School in 1949. Following high school, he went to work at the Lake Erie Foundry, a family business, until it closed. Chuck worked at Parker White Metal until he retired in 1993. Chuck also worked at the Prindle and Byham Fruit Farms.
A dedicated provider and family man, his entire life. He was a man of great humor, who kept everyone close laughing. Chucks’ neighbors will attest to seeing him enjoying his daily roundabout drives. Chuck enjoyed the time the family spent each Sunday eating and laughing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife May “Mazie” (Behringer) Kibler whom he married October 22, 1949 in Meadville; sister, Suzanne McWhirter; brothers, John and William Kibler; grandchild in infancy, Brenda Potter; and a great-grandchild, Geoffrey Potter.
Chuck will be greatly missed by his family which include daughters, Bonita Hume (Douglas), Debra Kibler, Kristine Kibler, Lisa Kibler (Liz); sons, William Kibler (Patricia), Blaine Kibler, Kurt Kibler (Karen), Bradley Kibler (Rene’), Kent Kibler (Stacy); sister, Karen Winston; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one on the way; five sister-in-laws; as well as several nieces and nephews.
