Arthur Enstrom Obituary

Arthur Edward Enstrom, 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024. He was born January 31st, 1946, a son to the late Reino and Lillian (Monola) Enstrom.

Following his high school education, Arthur enlisted with the United States Navy in 1965. He served over a year overseas assigned to the USS Holder, a gearing class Destroyer. Arthur was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. Upon his Honorable Discharge he returned home to Erie.

After providing his service to several jobs, including a country music radio station, Arthur found that working as an automobile salesman was a role in which he could excel. He was a salesman for a variety of dealerships in both Erie as well as Florida. Arthur spent many years in the Sunshine State enjoying his time in the area. He was always a social man with a sense of humor and was quick to make friends. He loved to golf and took to the fairways as often as he could. In autumn, Arthur took to the woods in the Warren area to hunt and relax, which was perfect to enjoy hunting season and fall weather.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Reino and Lillian (Monola) Enstrom; sister, Karen Schneider; brother, Richard Enstrom; and other family including Kim Turi

Arthur will be greatly missed by his family including his sister-in-law, Judith Enstrom; nephews, Kurt Schneider (Linda), Roger Schneider (Arlette), and Richard Enstrom (Robin); nieces, Kristin Schneider and Joan Enstrom; great- niece, Ally Enstrom who dearly loved her uncle Art; family also includes, Bryon Turi, Tommy Turi, Terry Turi, and Mark Turi whom enjoyed Super Bowl parties and get togethers.

We would like to thank the residents and staff at St. Francis Xavier for making Art feel like family especially Mike Kaman whom was his best friend and golfing buddy.
