Thomas James Adam DuBose, 42, of Girard and formerly of Griffin, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was born in Griffin, GA, April 16, 1975, the only son of Thomas L. and Vickie E. (Cavender) DuBose. 
He attended Pike County High School and later enlisted in the US Army where he was stationed at FT. Benning, GA. He was medically discharged due to an accident while there. He worked for Bell South Telecommunications and was also an apprentice electrician in Buford SC. Adam was a self-taught computer technician, one of his many hobbies. Adam also enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a self-taught taxidermist. 
He will be greatly missed by his family, which in addition to his parents include his two children, Michaela Eden DuDose and Noah James DuBose; their mother, Mariela DuBose; his two sisters, Sara B. DuBose and Laura A. DuBose; his grandparents, James D. and Betty L. Trice; and dozens of aunts, uncles, and cousins. 
There will be no calling hours or services observed. His family held a private memorial to celebrate his life and are planning to plant a tree in his honor this fall back in his home-state of GA. Memorials may be made online at https://www.gofundme.com/AdamDuBose.
