Thelma F. (Baugher) Felegie

Thelma F. (Baugher) Felegie, 87, of Girard, passed away on Friday April 13, 2018 at St. Vincent Health Center following a brief illness.
 She was raised and educated in Girard, graduating from the Rice Avenue Union High School in 1948. Following high school she worked at the Marx Toys Co. in the Payroll Department. Later her priority became that of a homemaker, taking care of her family.
She had also worked at Alpine Manor in Fairview as a Nurse's Aide and later became an LPN through her work there. She had worked as a LPN for the Presbyterian Home in Girard for twenty years.
 Thelma was a member of the Girard United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Naomi Circle there. 
She enjoyed puzzles and reading.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Felegie in 1992, whom she married August 4, 1951 in Girard. A grandson, Justin T. Felegie in 2011 and a half brother, Willis Baugher.
 Thelma will be greatly missed by her family, which include six sons,  Steven A. Felegie of Girard, Terrence P. Felegie (Jacqueline) of Springfield, VA, Timothy S. Felegie of Arlington, VA, Willis M. Felegie (Joy) of  Charles Town, WV, Adam E. Felegie of Lake City, Christopher J. Felegie (Christine) of Lake City, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
 Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard and are invited to attend services there on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Brock Beveridge officiating.
 Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.
