Susan I. (Martek) Jacobs

Susan I. (Martek) Jacobs, 66 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday May 16, 2018 at St. Vincent Health Center, following an extended illness.
 She was born December 27, 1951 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Gerald and Irene (Wolicki) Martek.
 Susan graduated from the Cheektowaga Central High School in 1970. She later furthered her education graduating from Mercyhurst University with an Associate Degree in Business Administration and also studied Accounting at Tri-State Business Institute as well.
 She had been employed at the Cascade Club in Erie as a bartender and waitress, also George’s Restaurant in Erie and had most recently been employed at Giant Eagle, Yorktown Centre.
 Susan loved bingo, bowling, pinochle and crocheting. She was a member of the Tri-State Country Music Association, loved attending jamborees and mostly spending time with her family.
 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two step sons, Mark D. and Michael D. Jacobs Jr.
 She will be greatly missed by her family, which include her husband, Mike D. Jacobs, whom she married, December 18, 1986 in Erie, also by two daughters, Amy L. Pandin (Todd) of Atwater, OH, Gina M. Sierra of Erie; a son, Bill  “BJ” R. Lallman Jr. (Rachel) of Bellville, OH, three step sons, Jay M. Jacobs (Michele) of West Milford, NJ, Don M. Jacobs (Jill) of Girard, Matt D. Runser (Melissa) of Harborcreek; four brothers, Bill Martek (Karen) of Depew, NY,  Jim Martek (Cindy) of Lancaster, NY, John Martek (Samm) of Alden, NY, David Martek (Kathy) of Hamlin, NY; 18 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
 Friends may call on Sunday from 12 noon to the time of a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard.
