Rodney V. Senyo

Rodney Victor Senyo, age 81 of Girard Township, passed away peacefully at home December 24th, 2018.  He was born in Erie, June 4th, 1937 a son of Peter Victor Senyo and Elinor Demar.
Rodney graduated from Albion High School in 1955 and was a member of Future Farmers of America.  He coached Tri-Boro Little Gridders and Tri-Boro Little League for 12 years.  Rodney was also a long time parishoner and past president of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Crossingville, PA and was recently a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Edinboro, PA.  He was a proud lifetime member of Laborer’s Local Union #603.
Rodney loved working in his church, spending time with family on holidays and feast days, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, graduations, and weddings, and he also loved going to camp and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his son, James V. Senyo.  Rodney is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois Senyo, sons Archpriest Michael Senyo (Susanne), Daniel Senyo (Beverly), grandchildren Michael (Trisha), Alexander (Laura), Kevin, and Erica.  
Visitation will be held at the Edder Funeral Home 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m on Friday December 28th.  A Panikhida service will be sung at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral service at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Pageville at 10 a.m Saturday December 29th.  Burial will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery, Father Seraphim Wing and Archpriest Michael Senyo as celebrants.
